Whenever there is a Plane / Train / Coach / Boat Crash somewhere in the world or any other disater it always seems to involve British people ??? Even if its some strange domestic trip in a far flung Country - is it just that are loads of us or are we just unlucky ?

:dk:

And the ones that don't involve British people tend not to get much coverage.

I don't have any sense that that's true.

OTOH there do always seem to be Americans involved.

No it's just down to perception because of reporting.

If it's a ferry in the Phillipines and 500 people drown then you probably didn't hear much about it. Full of locals.

OTOH if a domestic aircraft goes down with three Brits out 80 goes down in a far flung place - you'll hear a bit more about it.
