Genuine history

Every vehicle* comes with a certificate confirming that the recorded mileage is genuine. We also make a point of checking every car's provenance. You will even receive a certificate to confirm that the chassis and registration numbers are the same as those recorded by the DVLA.

* Vehicles first registered to Mercedes-Benz UK Ltd or as a retailer demonstrator are excluded

So what do you make of the footnote, that vehicles first registered to MB or as a dealer demo don't come with a certificate to confirm mileage is genuine?

Interested to see if others leap to same conclusion as me!?

Because they stand by the mileage on those cars anyway. No point in paying a third party like HPI to get the car mileage certified.

I thought many of the cars registered to Mercedes UK were actually loaned to the likes of enterprise rent a car to hire to random punters on a daily basis?

But if it's approved used then it could have been owned by someone else in between? Maybe they would issue a certificate in that scenario?

Why bother about it, the car is sold as having warranted mileage, is covered by a warranty...

Buy it...drive it.
