I reckon the bonnet got damaged and the only 2nd hand one they could find was silver.

Hi guuys, sorry to interupt your thread, but I cant leave private msgs yet, due to being a noob and I am desperately trying to find out the following. The reason I picked here is that UCR helped me before and was hoping he or you can again.
My question is this, I have a 1997, SL 320 and am looking to remove the painted windscreen pillar covers in order to adjust the brackets as they are not sitting in line with the wings. I can see a screw at the top, but dont know what else to do etc to remove it. I have trawled the net for about a month now and still cant find anything close!!
Contacted my local MB dealer and to say they were a chocolate fire guard would be kind!

Please can you help me guys. If you can reply or send me how to please!
