It may just be me, but I actually think the Fiat 126 works quite well. 
The front end arrangement is particularly well proportioned, given how narrow the car is, and the overall quality of the conversion looks impressive.
In another era, this could have been Mercedes-Benz's answer to the Aston Martin Cygnet.
