Hello Gentlemen,

Why does driver seat module keeps COMAND and OCP awake constantly draining the batter at 1.45A?

Passenger seat module does not cause it but only driver's.

This post is actually a follow up to my previous post "battery drain playing games". It seems I have solved the "hide and seek" part. Now that I've isolated the problem, hence created a new post.

Should I replace the seat module or is the problem elsewhere?

This will be no real help, but I had a drivers door module go doolally on a C270CDi & it messed with loads of seemingly unrelated electrics, even the engine management would have a hiccup every now & then until I replaced the module.

Hi,
COMMAND (can,t comment on OCP) I believe will have a feed from the drivers door control module via. the Can bus, these modules do fail, they can suffer from damp because of where they are fitted in the door (well this was the case of the earlier cars). The need to replace a dcm is,nt uncommon, the diagnosis can be lengthy due to the nature of the faults it can produce.

Thank you gentlemen for your replies.

I will look for a cheapy seat module somewhere to replace the faulty one.

Have you an idea what part number is for driver's seat module?
