Lots of MB for sale and apparently a marque specialist looking at their premises.
They have a very nice cl500 which I'm interested in so any stories, good or otherwise?
Thanks

They are quite close to me. Most of the cars are on the high mileage side, but priced accordingly. Viewed an E350 cab. there a couple of years ago. Not very well presented, with all four alloys badly kerbed. Maybe they are one of those garages that only does work to their cars once they are sold, or if asked.
Don't get me wrong, they are not a back street place but don't expect the standard and preparation of main dealer cars.

Thanks Nick. The CL is priced ok and the wheels look fine! I don't usually buy from dealers so its a whole new world. They are a couple of hours away so I'll have to consider my options.

Just had a look at the CL on their web page and it looks and reads a real beauty, with nice mileage.
Good luck.

It's a refreshing change from the deluge of black and silver examples.

I bought a car from him many many years ago , he’s an old school car dealer, not a bad bloke but gave the impression you’d have to push him all the way, that was a long time ago, and he’s still there with a business that bears his name, must say something

I very nearly bought a car from him a couple of years back, but on second thoughts concluded it was overpriced and decided not to. He was very very cagey about allowing me to pay any of the balance on credit card, too, which rang a small alarm bell. (If I'd read all through the website I'd have seen I could have paid a deposit by credit card, so my own fault, but it still rang the alarm.)

A bit of thread resurrection but, just to say, I bought a 2004 E270 Estate from Wilding Motors towards the end of September. They attended to everything I pointed out after my viewing and test drive, plus more. Car was ready a week later, as promised, fully serviced and with a fresh MoT. They even put in more than enough diesel to get me home, a one and half hour drive. An issue with the tailgate and luggage cover showed up in the first few days. They ordered parts, booked me in for 10.00am this morning. Courtesy car was ready for me on arrival and they phoned me before I'd managed to finish breakfast in Totnes to tell me it was ready. And it was. My experience is that this is a good honest dealership who know their product and with excellent customer service.

Anyone recommend good merc mechanic in Paignton? I am a pensioner and need some advice
Thanks

You could always try Wildings on Totnes Road as mentioned in the previous posts, but Coverdales over at Decoy, Newton Abbot have an excellent reputation as a long standing Mercedes Independent.
