looking to change wheels im on 16" will i get away with 17" or 18" forgot to say its been lowered :thumb:
 
18" alloys will fit, but the ride will suffer. How much have you lowered the car by?

it was lowered before i brought it at the moment im on 16" rims tyres are 205 55 16 i think

I think you will get away with 18's so long as you have the correct size tyres.

cheers for that bit of info i was thinking of 18" with 225/40/18 :thumb:

thinking of these rims had a set on my mk2 mondeo 2years ago

You may find those type of wheel a little weak for the weight of the car, might be best to find something more solid. 5 x 112 is the pcd you need.

5 x 112 any idea whats the et size im sure i seen somewhere its 35 ?
 
Et 35 is about right, I have et41 on mine but they are close to the shock absorbers.

thankyou for the help il look for a et 35 to 37 il also take a look and find out what rims are on my car iv no ida what thay are lol rights me of to bed

the bottom car are them rims bk299 always liked them
 
hi COVLAD, i'm going to put them up for sale, have a look ImageShack Album - 7 images
they're 8Jx17 et 35 with cheap tyres but loads of thread, 225/45/17
let me know if you're intrested. oh and alloys need a refurb.

not be able to do anything untill about march time as going to get the merc sorted ie 2 small parts in the engine bay welded under the water bottle and n/s front behind the light


nike the wheels unsure thay look nice on a white car ?
 
well thats going to be an issue just checked the off set on my rims and the the ET is 25 will this be ok for the time being if not il have to buy a set of wheels

ET25 is to low for a 124 as they`ll stick out a bit
 
it dont help when thay was on the car when i brought it :doh:

You`re going to change them at some point anyway so don`t worry about it
