Will 190 seats fit a 202

Hi there,

Was just wondering if seats from a 190 would fit into a 98 202 saloon, both have manually ajustable seats.

As there are some nice ones on ebay!

Any help would be appreciated

I know the headrest thing wont work, as i dont think the 190s had that.

its a shame, a really nice black leather cosworth interior would look nice in there!!

W201 electric seats have electric front headrests. The rear headrests sit on top of the rear backrest, not on the parcel shelf.

The seats in both cars are manually adjustable.

All i need to know really is if the bolts for the seats are the same and if the rear bench is the same size and has the same mounting points.

Neither have splitting seats or ski hatch.

The only things i could see being a problem, if they go in the same would be the headrest switch because as you say the rear headrests are in the seat on the 201.

is there anything in the seatbelt locks that would present problems?

Rears wont fit, completely different.

I'd be really, really surprised if they fit & I saying that having a set of full black leather Cosworth seats for sale!

One of the seat belt anchors on W202 is on the seat IIRC while the seat belt on the W201 is all mounted on the B pillar.

Buy a 190E 2.6 & put the seats in it.

Its a shame, i think that would have looked nice in my C Class!!

Oh well, my hunt for a manual adjusting leather interior continues!!

Those 16v seats have been removed from ebay, presumably sold.
