Hi, I am new here and it looks like a good place to have MB fun.

I have just received a safety recall on my W211. Apparently it needs the software recoding on the SBC system.

It's actually quite amusing to thing that my Mercedes will soon be a E320 CDI (service pack 1)!!!!

The thought of being able to download the spec/options you want is interesting. Let's hope there aren't any viruses around.

I think they are up to about Service Pack 50 by now, the number of updates and replacement modules available.
