    Hi

According to the link in the very first post of this section of the forum, the AMG alloys for a W220 S class should have the following offsets:-

    8.5 x 19 = 44
    9.5 x 19 = 46

The alloys iv seen claim to fit the S class but the offset if just 35.

Is this gona cause big issues or will it require spacers etc etc?

    Thanks.

Depends on the width of the wheels. Assuming they're the same width as the amg's, the new wheels would be 9mm and 11mm further out, so I'd guess they probably wouldn't work.

Spacers won't work, as they'd be pushing the wheels further out, not bringing them further in which is what you'd need.

Put the details of the amg's vs the wheels you're looking at in offset calculator below and see what the delta is.

Sorry, i should have mentioned that the new ones are the same size:-

    Front 8.5 x 19 = 35
    Rear 9.5 x 19 = 35

Realistically with them being just 1cm out will that really cause major problems? I might just use slightly thinner tyres, for example the rears are rated as 275/35/19, but what if i was to use 265/35/19, or would that just not make any difference?

    Thanks.
