Since having the C200cdi I've been a little dissapointed with the mpg so have had this fitted in the hope it will improve things. Short runs recently haven't given me much chance to assess it though the drive back from the garage did seem a lot smoother. They lent me a W203 petrol which I found wasn't too bad, the steering on the W204 seems sharper.

With the weather and flooding as it is at the moment, perhaps a PX for a boat might be a better idea.

No picture when I first read it.

It will be interesting to see, but an even better experiment would be to do a blind test of it fitted then off again.

What is the performance like now?
I haven't tested it, but since in standard guise it is supposed to do 129mph there is no way I am going to ascertain whether it is faster. As regards 0-60 times I doubt it would be that significantly different that I would notice. Now mpg I will be able to check over time.

Well the first 10 gallons has given me 40mpg, so no change there at the moment, does seem to run smoother though.

A C200 Ken is an ok performer, the C220cdi will be a fair bit brisker. Did you buy the right car?

Whats the power output rated it now with the box?

It's stated output is now around 220 figures, it wasn't the increased performance that I was after as it is more than adequate for my needs, it was the somewhat dissappointing economy.

I doubt that will change....

But why not do a brim to brim before chip and after and see what really comes out. That box will trick your OBC but checking the figures manually is the best way/

I'm surprised because on long run with similar mph I can get similar mpg.

Since fitting any kind of power box or remap, the OBD reading will now be corrupt by the same amount as power is increased by.

You need to perform comparative brim to brim calculations.
