Going to have a look at another car on wednesday afternoon:D,Another 202.This one is a 98 C 240 sport bout the same colour as mine with FSH and 68k on the clock,If all goes well an he hasn't sold it and I can get a good price on mine who knows maybe I shall have to change my web site?

Cant wait! Like a little kid at the mo.

I know what you mean, trouble is after you buy it your still like a little kid for the next few days after too!

Dont know yet I need to see how much I owe on the bank loan I got,I was

Its all fun when it comes to these things eh? and I havent even bought anything yet can you belive it.Im dead envious of yours by the way,It looks well nice from the photos :cool: :cool: :cool:

Spoke to the guy today at the garage whos selling the c240.He has sold it yesterday :( Oh well may as well keep lookin.Seen some nice motors today spoilt for choice what to look at. A nice silver W210 avantgard or a black S320 W140. Just want a big luxury motor now.

I know I know,I have been on the other forums looking at mpg figures and its putting me off.Buying isn't the problem its the scary amount of fuel these people say they use :eek: As it will be used as a main daily runabout car.

Well it uses more than my C180, thats for sure!!! The thing is heavy so accelerating fast can be expensive.... But I drive it quite gently and use the cruise
control a lot to avoid needless speed changes and that helps. Can get around 30mpg
on a decent motorway run.

They're big buggers to park too, remember that for a daily runabout! I think people either love the old W140 or hate it. It makes me smile every time I see it / get in it / drive it or get out of it, so I am mostly blinded to its running costs... ;) Remember all the parts costs a bloody fortune too..

No I haven't had a drive of it,Would have liked to.I wanted to get what info I could first before traveling down there(seen it on auto trader website)Have in the past driven the S600's the recent one wasn't that long ago, 12 months maybe?Drooooooooooooooooooool.Would have taken me a month to figure out all the options it had.

Im trying to get a look at a black w210 E320 AV'de tomorrow and have a test drive (never driven one or even been in one so I want to just see what they're like) But im still drawn to the C240's in the back of my mind. Seen some corkers with good specs, so I will have a look at as of many as I can whilst im off.

If upon inspection it lived up to it's condition, it could be a great car!

I bet the servicing on that isn't cheap though.

Go for a W210 Elegance or Avantgarde, you wont be sorry. I was lucky to get an Elegance model with Sport chassis and suspension as a factory spec (best of both worlds). I get an av of 26mpg at 90mph on mway, and limits elsewhere, but on a long run 34mpg is easily seen.

:eek: :cool: Dont think I can find one on my budget tho.

Went to have a look at a c240 sport today.It came with leather seats silver paint,cruise,cd player,rust on the boot lock worn out b pillar trim and only front electric windows on a T plate, :(
