Will my old sprintbooster work with C250 CGI BE?

Hi everyone, I have had a sprintbooster in my C180k Auto for around 5 years and it makes it feel like it has 50bhp extra. (having 120k probably helps too)

I know there is a new SB with a 3 stage process etc however will my regular SB for Merc Autos work on my new 2010 C250 CGI?

According to the US website these have different Part Numbers:

2000 to 2007 GAS or DIESEL Mercedes C-Class Sprint Booster: SPR2085 for manual or SPR2085A for automatic

2008 to 2012 GAS or DIESEL Mercedes C-Class Sprint Booster: SPR2086 for manual or SPR2086A for automatic

Not sure what the difference is though...

I think these are the part numbers for the newer switchable SB, I am wondering whether the older SB is still compatible, I guess there may be only one way to find out if no one else has experience...
