Will these fit my w202?

Thanks Malcolm, Do you reckon they are much different from the standard ones that I have? If they are the real Bose ones of course.

The Bose system often had a pair of sub woofers in the rear shelf,, I do not know if a standard set up would drive them very well. I will try and find out more about them

Sub woofers have a lmited frequency response and are made to be driven from an amp with a special cross over, they would not sound that good without an amp,,you could always add an amp,,nothing too large is needed

They look about the same as the standard ones, which to be honest are rubbish.

If I were you I would get a set of clarions and fit them as direct replacements.

Thats what I did on my W202. :D

Coudnt agree more Alpine and Pioneer also make some excellent sounding coaxial speakers that could fit in that rear deck and will guaranteed sound sound better without even be able to notice that aftermarket speakers have been fitted so the whole setup would look stealth.

if they are bose, they will be 2OHM speakers, which will not match any head unit you have, as generally 4 ohm is compaitble with headunits., therefore you will not get the best out of them.

Id tend to go gor a set of 6.5" 3-ways for the rear shelf, Alpine or even pioneer are good for your normal listener, and a good set of components for the front.
