2006 e280 cdi estate. ********** model
Could anyone tell me if these wheels would fit my 2006 pre facelift e280 cdi.
I got car recently with 20 inch amg alloys and they have had a bit of a hard life and also not the best ride quality.
Here is the info from the ad.

Genuine Mercedes 16" Alloy Wheels and as new Dunlop SP Sport 3D MO tyres.
The wheels have been used for 1 winter then Triple waxed and stored, the tread is 5.5-6m as new with no cuts or scrapes. The alloys are suitable for Mercedes C class or other Mercedes/Audi/VW models from 2007 onward and are 7J x 16 H2 ET 43.
Brand new center caps are also included
The alloys have never been kerbed and are free from scratches or scrapes.
Great traction enhancement all year round
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I think an e class runs at circa et35 to 38....

I'd personally put e class alloys on there as the 16" will clearly look out of place, sit too far in at et43 and ultimately be the wrong style.

I'd go for 16/17" Ankaa wheel (Mercedes w211 option) or something original fit.

E class rides very well on 17 inch rims, look good and ride not harsh

Thanks for the replies. The seller said that he bought them for his c180 but they didnt fit as the studs/bolts needed to be 14mm and his were 12mm I think.
All the numbers in the ad mean very little to me but my log book says there is a 16" wheel option and i dont know what the car came with originally.https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDYwMA==/z/~ccAAOSw42JZJIs2/$_86.JPG
Tried to include a picture but not sure if it worked

Here is the image.

Your E Class will have M14 bolts and an ET of 33 - 42 for 16" wheels.
I think they would fit if they have come off a W204 Class (That also used M14 bolts)

Thanks for that but according to the info on the ad the wheels have an ET 43 which is outside the range you mention.
Not desperate but at £270 I thought they might be worth it.
Thanks for the help

If a 16" wheel with an ET 42 fits, I think an ET43 will fit as well. Its only 1mm closer to the hub.

Indeed they would fit but it would look really daft. I think for £270 you could quite easily find yourself some w211 wheels with good tyres.

eBay item number: 322509186077

Perfect

I agree. 16" on a W211 will not be a good look. They need 18" minimum IMO but that is the OP's decision.
