will this filter fit:

FUEL FILTER - MERCEDES W123 W124 230 200 2.3 2.0 Opt2/2 on eBay (end time 16-Mar-10 22:49:12 GMT)

Seems a little expensive for an inline filter .
Your local parts shop should be cheaper.

Eurocarparts or Mercedes dealer themselves are usually good prices for OEM-spec filters.

Ahh thanks Just need to stock up on service parts and need them cheap as no doubt this project will get expensive after the easy stuff!
