Will this Head Unit work on my W203 Merc?

I believe that unit is from a CLK being part number 209, so it wont actualy fit!
As your car is pre-facelift you will need a Comand 2.0 unit, as that's a plug and play option, otherwise an extensive loom retrofit is required! i don't know how hard it would be but maybe an NTG2.5 retrofit would be a better solution as it is the most up to date option, with loads of extras you can do with it, but it is costly, so its all down to what you want to spend.
I would suggest contacting Comand Online, they helped me with my upgrade and it went flawlessly!

Ok, well it might be from a C Class, its just the part number is from a CLK and i have never seen that unit fitted to any C Class before.
My main concern is your car is a 2001, with the older ISO style connector instead of a quad block connector, means this wont be and easy task, definitely not Plug and play. On the other hand a Comand 2.0 is plug and play and would be a lot cheaper to buy.

AFAIK its for W209 and W211's only. Have you purchased it already?
Even if it will work with a W203, you have the wrong dash/wiring for it, you need the facelift dash for it to fit.
