Hi Guys,

My recent posts have left me think (and looking more)

I would like to play my Iphone/Pod through the speakers but don't want to spend £100s to get there... I have a 53 plate with command (not sure which one though) and CD multi in the glove box (which doesn;t work anyway)

Would I be able to use of these to plug in where the CD changer came from..??

Connects 2 Car Audio Systems, Car Stereo, Car Radio DAB Stereos, Car interface adapters and accessories > ProductInformation

Thanks

That looks like the plug that goes into the socket in the armrest allowing the iPod to connect rather than a lead to replace the CD connection. We were given a pack of three different connectors with the R172 and the one in the link was one of them.
I would suggest you call Mark at comand.co.uk who will have the parts you will need and be able to give accurate advice as to whether or not it can be done this way.

When you say that your Multi CD in the glovebox doesn't work are you sure that it is a multi changer and not just a CD storage unit?

Have you not got the AUX in the glove box?
