I'm getting the 18's I bought off Woodythewise fitted later today. Two are being refurbed, polished and waxed as I type this, the other two are sitting gleaming in my garage.
BUT
I called the tyre place earlier and asked them if they could swap over the tyre pressure monitor sensors (TPMS's) from the existing 17's.
Much sucking of teeth - apparently the stems are aluminium and have a habit of getting corroded. And when you try to take them out they can snap.
I think you can replace the stems (?). Or buy new units at £70+ each (!!)
But I've seen these on eBay. They're off a 207 not a 212 and I can't see the part number to check (or call the guy until Monday).
Any idea if they are compatible?
