Have just purchased a CLK 500 convertible, registered Sept 2003. Can anyone tell me what wind deflector I should look for. Is it the W208 or 9 ?

Thank you

whats the first 6 digits of your vin. mine is wdb208. Yours will be WXX20X

The VIN starts with WDN209, so I assume I should be looking for a W209 wind deflector. Thank you.

It's a C209 technically (and A209 for the coupe) :D;):p:rolleyes:

Thanks for the advice. I have purchased a wind deflector from a very nice Seller on EBay.

Makes a massive difference. Windows up, wind deflector up, legal limit, and even mrs Ted's expensively coiffured creation remains unruffled.

I was quite surprised at the amount of back draft, even with all the windows up, so I certainly hope the deflector is as good as you say Ted.

After all it's not very convenient when I am bbqing my sausages next to me with smoke and cinders swirling around the car, 'at the legal limit' of course. Lol.
