Wind deflector

Hello any help much appreciated last week purchased slk280 07 low miles lovely car only small niggle with roof down above 60 the plexi glass wind deflector creaks like mad very annoying was thinking of removing it but would like to keep it any suggestions have placed foam between deflector and parktronic display no joy still creaking.

Is it a genuine wind deflector? I ask because we never had any creaking from my wife's R171 wind deflector when she had it.

I'd suggest careful use of a silicone spray on all the contact points.

Yes genuine MB deflector I was thinking along the same lines with silicone spray

Didn't have any problems with the OEM deflector on our R171. Good luck, I hope you sort it.

Sorted it thx just took it off to clean re fitted creaking noise has disappeared
