Can anyone tell me if another window motor fits 1998 320Sl convertable driver side, finding it hard to get a replacement

The best way is get the part number and google it.

I've found some bargains on NOS and used stuff that way, where ebay sellers advertise by part number but with an incorrect or sketchy description.
