Mine has the same problem on my W215, the auto close (one touch) often seems to find "an invisible obstacle and stops) I have to keep the button half pressed to overide the auto stop.

I believe these are the rubbers gone strange.

    Hi Guys

Try running a small amount of washing up liquid into the rubber channelling and then run the window up and down a couple of times.

I use Halfords Silicone spray and apply to all window channels and folding mirrors - stops all squeaks and glass movement is smooth - apply every couple of months or so - its colourless as well and leaves no residue

    Hope this helps
