Window tints

Does anyone have 50% Window tints done?
Looking to get it done on my W204, some pics would be great.
I dont want it too dark.

Any idea what Mercedes privacy glass is?

Are you aware of the law regarding tints. The front windscreen can only be tinted 25% and front side windows 30%. No limit on rear screen or rear side windows.

If your windscreen or front side windows are tinted too much you could get:

• a ‘prohibition notice’ stopping you using your vehicle on the road until you have the extra tint removed
• a penalty notice or court summons

Thanks for the information. I will only touch the rear windows, I understand the rules regarding the front.

Haven't got any pics but I've had two cars done with 50% on the back and was more than happy. It's not gangster/pimp black but still dark enough to give privacy particularly if you go for a quality film that has the metal particles in it rather than the dyed rubbish as it has a very slightly reflective effect and therefore gives more privacy than you'd expect.
