Window woes

I've had my C180 saloon for about three weeks now and essentially I'm happy with it - but - there is an issue with the front windows, more so with the passenger side. It isn't an open or close issue where you can do a reset - this is a bit more peculiar.

I lower the window to halfway. Fine. But when I use the auto button to raise it, the window actually goes DOWN for about a centimetre before stopping. This happens a couple of times before the auto-up works as it should. What's going on? Does anyone know?

Also, when I opened my door to get out of the car this morning, the boot opened. Weird.

Try cleaning the glass channels each side of the window. Perhaps it's the anti pinch function kicking in because of resistance in the channel(s)?

Anti-pinch does make sense. Thanks whitenemesis, I'll give it a go.
