Windows 7 License Key

A long shot..... Does anyone have a Windows 7 license key I can blag? I had a laptop rebuilt by a friend and the WIN 7 install wasn't licensed online.... I need to register it..... Can anyone help?

I have a W7 64bit Home Premium key I don't use any more. Though I learnt that this will only work with Dell's version of W7 and not W7 as downloaded from Microsoft website - hope this makes sense. Let me know if you still want it and I'll hopefully dig it out and PM it.

Sure, worth a shot, though it didn't work on my rebuilt W7 laptop last month.

I've since bought W8 with a new key, so this key whilst previously registered is now no longer in use

Doesn't the laptop have the licence key stuck on it somewhere (even possibly under the battery)?

You only need to activate a key - registering is optional.
