Windows 8 upgrade for £25

I have upgraded this month, very happy, but then, that was from Vista :D

I heard it was the replacement for ME, I will stick with windows 7 until I get a touch screen monitor I think..

Genuine question here. What are the advantages upgrading from Win 7? I haven't got a touch screen monitor and don't really see the advantage of one anyway.

I've read bits and pieces about Win 8 and can't really see any advantages over Win 7 but I might, as usual, be missing something somewhere.

It is still good value with this deal most suppliers are offering this for £49.99.

If you use windows media center then you have to pay for this on windows 8 and anyway it's a touch screen os. so if you haven't got a touch screen it's no benifit

I think I'll be sticking with linux for £0. ;)

Cheers,

Gaz

I might stick with Windows 7 for £0 - and have everything working.

:D

i think you will find that the offer only allows you to install Windows 8 on the PC it is orderd from, using a unique sig key, so not good if you intend to swap in the future.

The offer has now expired. Costs significantly more now to upgrade... I think I got all of ours done.
