i think the tech done the right thing, he stopped and was honest with you - probably couldn't find one of the 10mm's?
He probably wouldn't have even bothered trying if you weren't there in all fairness, but there's always 1.....
So, "Autoglass Despair, Autoglass Disgrace".
I used Autoglass for my replacement screen. My insurance company didn't want to pay for a genuine MB screen (if there's no difference, why is the MB screen more expensive) so I had a non-MB screen fitted. The screen was a "goldfish bowl" unit and this was replaced by Autoglass with a genuine MB screen which is perfect.
My Sprinter screen was replace around 5, years ago, on my driveway, in the rain and does leak.
