Windscreen replacement

Thanks to a stone hitting my screen and putting a 2" split in it I'll need to get it replaced. I expect this will be autoglass or similar.
Will it need to go on Star to set up auto wipers/auto dip etc?

A good screen service like Autoglass can usually do that for you.... they have on the company Range Rover and Golf.

Not the auto wipers, but yes if it has lane keeping assist and / or other Driver Assistance Systems that are camera-based.

Autoglass (or whoever) will be able to identify if anything needs recalibrating after screen replacement from the registration number and if it does then the screen will have to be replaced at one of their depots that has the calibration equipment.

It sounds more of a PITA than it actually is, and every time I've had a screen replaced that required recalibration it was all carried out well and without fuss.
