Windscreen Tint

Hi can anyone tell me what tint is on the windscreen of my 2007 E 280CDI Sport, as I am in need of a new one My insurance tell me who to use , so I thought if I have the tint etc when I call there will be no mistakes

Get the windscreen company to get it direct from MB. There will be no issues then.

Your insurance company can ADVISE you who to use , but it is YOUR car and you have the final say on who repairs it .

Indeed one can but be aware, if one doesn't follow the insurer's advice they may not pay for the replacement or may only pay a contribution to the supply and fit. This may fall short of covering the total costs. Each policy is different but will be clearly explained. Check and see what conditions apply.

But of course the choice is always yours where you have the replacement done
