windscreen wipers Judder

Hi all

Just got back from shopping and notice that at 30mph my windscreen wipers where Juddering really bad.

I think my blades are gone, i have cleaned the class and the blades but still as bad, so what are the best blades to put on

Cleaning the windscreen with a clay bay can help eliminate judder, it removes tar & road grime that would cause friction against the blades.

You can purchase a clay bar and lube from Halfords. I would also suggest trying a proper windscreen cleaner such a s Sonus glass and chrome cleaner.

I would recommend getting new blades once you have cleaned the screen.

I have used Cif cleaner on windscreen with great sucess...certainly cleaned all the gunk off it....must be very careful not to get any on paintwork , rubber seals etc though.

I got new blades made by Valeo for my C and clk class...they have lasted well so far. Got them off the internet
Combination of clean screen and new blades stopped all the juddering
