!!Windshield Problem!!

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my w202 98 front windshield, and I was wondering if anyone have any good suggestions for this matter?

When I turn on the windshield the "part which makes the arm extend" gets stuck in an outward position which makes the tip of the blade stuck on the side of the windshield.

I have to get out of the car an manually push the extension arm in again, but it will get stuck in the outward position very fast.

Any suggestions guys?

You can fix a lollypop stick as illustrated below to the wiper mechanism to stop it from extending outwards.
Use cable ties or electrical tape to secure the lollypop stick.
