I was off to the Farm at the weekend when I was ambushed by a partridge. It popped up from the side of the road and struck the wing mirror, causing the glass to pop out.
I have failed miserably to get it back in.
It looks like there are two clips that fit into guides and at the top a spring bar that i assume clips over the flange on the plastic circle. it just doesnt seem to clip in.
I am sure there is an easy way to do this and that it is all about technique so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks
    Max

Undo the longer end of the spring bar, locate the glass using the metal clips on the back. Press in firmly at the base and then close the spring bar (you'll probably need thin screwdriver or other useful tool to clip it shut.

There's a thread here somewhere I'll add a link shortly
