Wing mirror indicators

Is it necessary to get the holes in the wings welded closed or can the indicators in the wings be wired to those in the door mirrors too?

you can leave the wing indicators flashing too, i had them like this for a while, until i had the opportunity to get the wings done!

You can have as many repeaters as you want AFAIK

So Shude and Alps, oh wise ones, what is the best way to hook up the wing indicators to the mirror indicators as I am seriously considering this mod, and roughly how much are the mirrors themselves?

When wiring mine i got the colour of the wire at the lights at the back and then searched in both door sills for the same colour of wire. Splice wire and feed the wire up through the door pillar and out the sleeve into the door and up to the mirror. Allow a couple of hours for each side.
