Wing Mirror

My drivers side wing mirror has an anti glare coating (?) on it. It was a bit damaged when i got it. I mean it didn't cover the whole mirror the top 2 cm or so was damaged. Now it has spread to half the mirror.


Any suggestions gratefully received

peel it off and get another one from halfrauds that sticks straight on? Or just peel it off and leave it?

Get another glass before the dimming liquid runs down the door and eats your paint...

Auto dimming same as interior mirror, got whole mirror for mine of e bay for £80ish glass from mb £180 ish!
Wifes w203 is now starting to do the same may try std galss.

Greetings. This problem seems to be wide spread, my OS mirror is the same adn there are similar threads on other forums. Can any one provide chapter and verse of how to remove the mirror glass?

Take off the outer cover.

Flip the spring clip that holds the mirror glass to the motor:

And lift glass away from motor working from the top.
