I have a cls 2010 3.0 litre w219 and this morning on start up it didn’t sound right. Pulling away I heard a noise best described as a wooing noise and what felt like no turbo. I have checked oil level and it’s low and not sure for how long. I have filmed the issue and I will post if I can find out how.any ideas?

Hi,any messages on dash or engine management light?

None, I have attached a video, the wiring noise isn’t that clear but I focus on one clscetion attached to the turbo that has oil around it
My 2010 Cls350cdi is at mb Poole with a similar issue(lost power on way home from London on Sunday, car went into limp mode with no messages or eml),looks like a failed seal allowing oil to contaminate the inlet port shut off motor-common fault on the om642 engine.

Can you leave newspaper under the car and tell us if there are any oil leaks?

Driving home this afternoon felt like I was in a bond film, smoke screen out the back. I think the turbo has gone. Time for a new car

A split boost hose can cause the whirring noise and loss of power and smoke out the back.
Check the hoses from turbo to inter cooler and then back to inlet.
