I have an Audi Allroad C5 Estate. 180bhp, brought it new in 2004 and it has just rolled over the 240,000 miles. 4WD, Air suspension (may be the only weak spot). This year my son drove it to the Alps and back, no issues. It has a get you home spare (so rare these days). Cam belt replacement costs run to £600ish and need replacing every 80,000 miles. These are not making much money, which is on reason I still have it. I was offered £1500 on trade in in 2012, kept it and used it as a daily driver ever since.

Mine is a manual, the clutch gave up at 200,000 and I had to replace the original battery last winter, after 12 years service.

Worth considering if you need a roomy estate car.

I bought a 56 plate XC90 4.4 V8 315bhp from the 1st owner last year with 190k now 199k full Volvo Main Dealer History for 5k. A ton of fautless car for the money. Does it all. I drive it more than any other car I own. Awesome VFM.
