Just received an email from Lookers - MB Tonbridge, Maidstone etc - offer 10% off the above and expainaing why they are good to have as the weather gets colder, wetter and generally worse.

C Class tyres are £799.00 depending on brand

How does that price compare when searching online?
Even with 10% tat sounds expensive to me....unless it includes the wheels

Err don't think the wheels are included although taking old tyres off and refittting them later is.
Seems a tad expensive to me.

There speaks a man who hasn't looked at winter tyre prices recently  ;)

or a man who drives a car with 15" wheels :)
My winter tyres were ~£250

Prices vary enormously depending on the make of winter tyre so the first thing you need to know is what brand of tyres they're planning to fit. Mytyres is a good starting price for comparing prices and they also quote for complete wheels and winter tyres.

(mytyres often slash their prices by 5 per cent in the last few days of the month)

True enough. I've been looking at 17" ones for my W211 which are nearer to £250 per corner!

£799 is probably mounted on steelies.

Thankfully I have a set of winter 16's for the 211...Sottozero's are about £120 a corner.
