Interesting just how poor the 4wd summer tyre X3 was in acceleration up a sligh hill. Add odds with what X3 and other soft 4x4 owners might be anticipating.

I'd like to see the ultimate test of the same car but in 2wd winter tyres, 2wd summer tyres, 4wd winter tyres & 4wd summer tyres.

Yes that would be good. Also, the trend to bigger wheels and lower wider tyres seems to harm grip in snow and ice. Would be good to see a test of the different all year round options.
