Wireless Charging Mat

Hi Guys, hope someone can answer this question for me. I have had a 2021 E-Class cabriolet on order since August. I don't have a build date yet and probably wont see the car until next year the way things are going. I was wondering about the wireless charging mat in the new cars. I am not sure if the size of the charging mats are standard across the Mercedes range but i was wondering if anyone could assist with the dimensions of the charging mat. The reason why I ask this is because i have just ordered a new phone which arrives on Friday. It's a Apple Pro Max 12 which is quite a large phone and i am concerned that it may be too large for the charging mat in the new car. Does anyone have a new E-Class or a vehicle with the same size charging mat and can check the dimensions of the charging mat. If the phone is too large, I may have to drop down to a smaller phone.
The dimensions of the new phone are
Height 6.33in - 160.8mm
Width 3.07in - 78.1mm
Depth 0.29in - 7.4mm

Many thanks

I got rid of my E Class but the current S Class has a built in charging pad which looks remarkably similar in size, albeit in a different location.

It measures 170 x 100mm, or approximately 6.75 x 4 "

I still have the same phone, a Galaxy S9, which fitted both of these cars with loads of space all around.

Brilliant. Thats really appreciated. Thanks

If it’s anything like the 2020 E class then you need to be weary if your buying the larger iphone. Mine barely fits and does not lay flat with the apple case which is very thin by the way although surprisingly, it does charge the phone

First world problems hey 😂

I tried a Galaxy S10plus, which I believe is 158x74 mm, in my 2019 E class estate (S213) and it did not fit on the charging mat.

I have a 2019 W213 E63, i also have Samsung Galaxy S10+, and my phone charges on the mat just fine. You've made me doubt if it fully fits now and I'll check in the morning when I'm in the car
But it 100% does charge the phone

I should have said "fully fit" as it would not lie completely flat.

Quite right, doesn't fully fit. Very close though, half centimeter maybe
