Wireless router drops connection

I have a Netgear wireless router with TalkTalk broadband. It was working fine at first on both the Apple and PC network, but now it's intermittent and/or incredibly slow. How come? - The signal strength is always very strong throughout this.

Try this website speed test http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html - could be your ISP, could be your router could be your computer. If you have an old hardwired ADSL modem try going back to that setup to see if speed improves. Some people have experienced firewall problems ( ZONE ALARMS IN PARTICULAR) after WinXP SP3 updates
