Wiring boot release to after market alarm w202 facelift

Andy, do these later 1998 W202 boot lids pop open when you unlock or do you have to press the lock key hole inwards?

U have to pop key hole in like the pre facelift

Hi andy the point of having this is when both alarms are armed and mercedes key is used to open boot the clifford alarm will go off its really annoying and once this is done i will also have better range

When the boot release on the fob or the switch is operated the boot lid opens fully, the central locking when operated requires the boot lock catch button to be depressed to open the boot lid.

Had a look today no violet wire here are some pics off the connector behind centre console and pse

Without the correct wiring diagram for your particular car all those pictures are of little use, the best thing to do is have an alarm installer have a look, hopefully not a big job if its only one wire involved.
