Wheres does the microphone extension cable go?

The yellow fakra on the back of the comand is the bluetooth. The green fakra is for video input, the blue one is the GPS.

The fibre will be redundant unless the car you are installing this in is a model year 2009/2010 one.

Which car/model year is this going into?

Hey Alfie..

Thank you for your reply

Car model: Mercedes E220 w211 2007 Faceliftet model with audio aps 50.

Can i use the exsisting blue connection for gps antenna then? or should i use the one that came with the cable harness i bought?

Where does the gps connection go in the back?

And also - If you look at the top picture. the circle that ive marked "back" there you see a yellow connection. Where does that go?

hi alfie . i bought this kit from
http ://www.comandonline.co.uk/NTG2-NTG2.5-converter-kit.html ,,
comand online but i dont know where to connect the microphone extensions .
they send me some instruction but not very clear. one end fits in head unit but the other??
my car ml w164 2006 model
under the rear seat there is a UHI box with one big connector and 2 fibre optics .
pls reply .eddie.

Please email [email protected] - we will help you get the wiring all correct of course...

The other end of the mic cable goes up to the mirror which is where the microphones are, on the ML you need to move the wires from existing white mirror connector and plug into black connector on loom and insulate ..

The picture at the beginning of this thread is for an E class with NTG1 COMAND / Audio-50. ML is *completely* different ...

You may aswell unplug the power connector to the phone module under the back seat - no point in wasting power keeping it powered up!

Cheers

Richard
