Wood restoration

I have a 82 500SL. The wood inside is scratched and the finish is not what it used to be. Merc want £1000 for new wood but i've been told i can get the wood reveneered. Does anyone know of any good companies to undertake this work?

theres a howto on the heckflosse website iirc - the veneer is a bit different to normal veneer.
