I need to do this, my car has light walnut and the center console has faded big time.
Some one in Turkey quoted me 600 US dollars to restore them along with the steering wheel ( adding walnut and re-leather ).

Honestly, I would rather change the color to piano black and do it locally.

PS: Removing the trims I hear is risky, as the clips break very easily. Any solution?

If you want to renovate your wood trim I suggest you find a local French Polisher. He will do the best job at a fair price.
