I tried to share a small extract from a bigger file, basically was standalone WIS was old file up to 2006

It was removed due to copyright issues ect , that ok

but when I was posting and reading, adverts and insertions kept popping up for me to click on that were for manuals online or down load manuals that were obvious same sort of extracts from WIS, how did they get copyright privileges ? or exemptions ?

As a site could it be possible for us to get same exemptions for older files for non profit? if the adverts are posting they must be adhering to copyright?

No, that would be like believing all the get rich quick scams that pop up on yahoo, facebook, news sites and everywhere else.

well I got the files to drive uploaded, will leave them there , is it against rules to share via a pm ?

Yes as they are copyrighted material, its no different than sharing a film.

This is against the forum rules (and the Law). We dont want MBs legal team shutting the site down however unlikely its not worth the risk.
