World champion Lewis Hamilton will start the Chinese Grand Prix from last place on th

Compare careers and prospects, I know who's shoes I would rather be in.

Compare the ages in a sport where age is everything. All I am saying is Button is kinder to his cars and is more respected by team management than Hamilton.

Button is out of the Ayrton Senna mould whilst Hamilton is in the Prost camp.

Could Hamilton have won a world championship in an unproven unknown car not in a million. And where did the current AMG cars derive a lot of their technology from oh yeah Brawn in a car developed by Jensen Button.

Button wouldn't still be in the team if he wasn't respected for his abilities. He's not there by fluke or paying for his ride.

I totally agree, sadly F1 is about the result not how you got there.

I'm rapidly going off F1, which to be fair I don't want be but it's just not holding its appeal to me personally like it used to.

For the first time in a few years, I recorded (went to type taped and show my age) the second round of the BTCC. I'm hoping the reverse grid and general mix up with action it's going to satisfy the arm chair racer in me.

Again totally agree, sadly his career is in its twilight. I'm hoping he will go into commentatory, as I have always enjoyed watching him talk about his racing.

Semi Spoiler......-

Did I just see that Button had the third fastest lap in the race?

How does that car do that and still be so rubbish / off the pace overall?

Low fuel and super soft tyres were creating the fastest laps at the end, hence Hulkenburg being the quickest.

By fitting supersoft tyres late in the race when fuel load is low and others are on a slower tyre.

I usually like Seb but he's being a cry baby regarding the start.

It's called overtaking Seb. AKA racing.

McLarens are making me sad. Boo Hoo.

Or being smart to deflect the focus off of him drifting out into Kimi's space.

Yes, I think his outburst was more to do with whom he took out. I doubt he'd have been so vocal if it was another teams car he'd have made contact with.
