Not been on the forum much lately, as I landed my dream job at the end of July last year. I was marshalling the world superbikes at Silverstone and was contacted by a new team, to take their truck to Russia, due to the many years continental experience I have. Well, Russia is definitely an eye opener, especially if driving a 44 tonne artic, with £3/4 million bikes on board. I was then offered to finish the rest of the year with them and that led on to being the logistics coordinator for 2013/14 and also tyre technician for the current world champion, Kenan Sofuoglu). My new boss is Dhoni, the Indian cricket captain.

Fascinating! Sounds great. Just make sure you call M S Dhoni with some complicated problem just before he goes into bat in the latest ODIs against England please.

I just hope you have a decent camera and fantastic memories.

Wonderful to hear, especially given the place your head was a couple of years ago! Heck of a vehicle to replace the E55

Regards to 'er indoors!

How long did your truck wait at the Russian Border? and which one(s) did you use? I have seen queues 10's of kilometers long at the Terehova-Buratchki border in Latvia.
Do you speak a little Russian now?!

Nice one mate, must of been great on the World Superbike gang :D:cool:

Remember to let me know about any tickets :thumb:

Nice, I went to watch the WSB in Portugal last year and had a great time

I was there for 14 hrs each way. We had an armed escort too and special permission to jump the queue. Can't remember the name of the border, but it was on the E22.
