Would these spoil the understated interior?

Illuminated door sills are certainly not 'tacky' BUT you want to make sure of what you are getting.

How do they secure to your vehicle?
How are they illuminated?

I have no idea how much geniune Mercedes-Benz illuminated sills cost, but if I were you and thinking of this option I would find out if any of them would fit your very nice car.

Regards,
John

thanks for all your advice this morning john, you are now my official MB consultant (unpaid due to bodywork costs of repairing car!) I have sent the seller questions about fixing and powering the lighting, not heard back as yet

Sure you can buy those in this country for around the same money.

www.mercedesperformance.co.uk

have some.

and certainaly www.matrixcar.de

Hi Shaun,
I thought it might be nice to add this to the list. It is a London based company that sell a range of Mercedes-Benz accessories including illuminated door sills. I have never dealt with them so cannot comment on the service. http://www.gericia.com/

Sorry for the delay, but the physiotherapist has just paid me a visit. Ouch, ouch and double Ouch.

Regards
John

Thanks John

Added that to my list, Im building up a database. Weel kind of more like an Exel list at the minute of various mercedes related websites and a brief description. Every site I see that is or could be of use gets added.

Eventually I will post a link to this document to my webspace in favourites with the aim to give people an out a glace page to find the website they are after without hours of searching and still coming off with nothing at the end of the night.

I am pleased to hear that it was of use. Have you got the link for an EXCELLENT magazine called Mercedes Enthusiast. (I hope I've spelt it right)

http://www.mercedesenthusiast.co.uk/

I have no connection with the magazine, but find it very informative. ClassicSlL might find a cheap rear panel in there for his very nice car.

Bye,
John

Hi Stuart,
This might not be the correct way, but I click on the Forum Jump button to take me to whatever forum the message is relevant to (a moderator will soon move it :) )

Then when you get to the 'Home' page in the top left corner is the box 'New Thread' just click on that. I hope this helps!

Someone might know a quicker, or easier method though.

Bye for now,
John
