Would you buy aftermarket wheels?

None of this are my cars but which one do you think looks better?

Pre facelift

Facelift

Ronal have also made genuine AMG wheels for Mercedes-AMG. They’re a very well regarded wheel manufacturer.
FL for me too, but not sure if it’s just the colour I’m drawn to 🤷‍♂️

Although I do prefer the spot lights on the P-FL compared to the DRL bars on the FL
i prefer the facelift too but I agree, the colour makes that a particularly striking car.

There's times that I think the pre facelift car looks beautiful [ apart from the rear lights. I don't like them ]

Mine is silver. It looks identical like the one I posted pic's of

The grey one does look stunning too. I guess the colour helps as well :)

Better comparison

I love the pre FL wheels, real old school.

This is the look I was thinking of going for.

I know it might seem boring to make another car look exactly the same as my last one but this had so much road presence!

Is that what you’re after, a genuine set of facelift ML 63 upgrade wheels?

Not at all Sam. You obviously loved the look of your old motor because it was tailored to your taste so only natural to want to replicate that style.

Agree those wheels look the dogs. 👏👍

Thank you!

By the way, I really like your avatar...... If only everyone done that!

I spent a few minutes looking at both shapes and I can’t decide , they both look stunning . If I was pushed I would say silver is the better colour though .

I have owned a few silver cars over the years and I always say that silver is a boring colour but when it comes to the S class, I also think it is the better colour. The car looks classy yet still modern. My CLK is also silver. It seems like I can't get away from silver cars 😁
I've only driven the car once since I bought it two weeks ago and that was the day I picked it up. I clearly have issues as I want to take it out once it looks the way I like the car to look 😆.

I might have to just leave it as it is and enjoy it for what it actually is, a pre facelift car :)

Yes, the same ones. I just love this wheels
I have a set in storage with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres fitted. I’ll let you know if I ever decide to sell them.

How about these aftermarket alloys.....Vossen forged wheels . Thing of beauty but pricey...

Don’t tease me like this! 😆
if you decide to sell them tomorrow, I’m ready.
if the tyres are gl / ml size I won’t need them but either way, we can work something out if you decide to sell them :)

You better hurry up and decide , @Sam87 doesn’t keep the cars long ;)

Haha 🤣 I thought I kept my S600 for a long time, over 4 years

Wise man.

Fiddling and faffing gives a boy something to do, but you’ll take it for granted as soon as it’s done.

I’d say just love the car, drive it, keep it well serviced and immaculate.
